Dawn is a commercially endorsed yacht master and yacht master examiner and has worked commercially at sea for the past 20 years in maritime policing.

Her qualifications means she can teach a wide range of maritime subjects from First aid to Yachtmaster off shore.

Since 2015, Dawn has been involved with ocean rowing, training rowers and completing her own solo, unsupported crossing in 2019, rowing from Gran Canaria to Barbados in 51days.

Dawn established Aurora Sea school in 2018 and offers a wide selection of accredited RYA training from classroom to on the water. Dawn is the only RYA Sea School owner who has rowed 4 oceans.

Dawn is also a British Rowing qualified session coach
